About Specialized

Specialized have designed bicycles for well over 40 years. So their appearance on the ebike marketplace with their Turbo Levo & Vado models was easy to anticipate.

Early versions of the Turbo model featured a stylish integrated battery and integrated features such as lights and a simple sleek head unit. However up until recently the motor was rear wheel driven. Which in our experience was a little outdated.

However all this changed with the introduction of the crank driven Specialized/Brose motor collaboration which has firmly launched Specialized ebikes into the limelight. The compact motor and battery has occasionally fooled the odd passer by in to mistaking the Levo for a regular mountain bike.

American Design

Specialized mission is simple—to be the brand of choice for discerning riders. Founded on performance and fuelled by innovation, their focus on the rider and their needs is Specialized's constant. From seasoned pros and weekend warriors, to kids and commuters—if you ride, Specialized is for you.

Specialized believe bikes have the power to change lives. This simple truth drives us to be—and do—better. The passion Specialized have for sharing their love of bikes with the world can be seen in those who choose to work there, and the people and organizations Specialized partner with.

Why Turbo?

Whether you're riding trail, speeding up your commute, or just having the time of your life out on the road, our Turbo electric bikes give you the power to go farther and faster then ever before.

On the road, these e-bikes are capable of achieving 45 Km/h while you pedal, and on the dirt, they give you the power to ride more trails.

Think of it like superhuman strength, only it's more like a superhuman is helping you as you pedal.
