At J E James it is our priority to keep our customers protected against all odds, or obstacles, ensuring if you get knocked down, you can get right back up again. Body armour is a wise investment for trials riders and those that love nose diving downhill. It will absorb hard impacts of the trails and provide protection where needed. There is always potential risk when going down the road less travelled or riding technical, steep single track and popular trails. With the added reassurance of your life and limbs being protected as best they can be, you will have that extra confidence to really throw your bike and yourself downhill and attack the tracks, knowing the likelihood of a serious injury or time off your bike is reduced. The best advice is buy your body armour before you need it, rather than after you “needed” it.
Everyone loves a good knees up but you don't want to end up on your knees repeatedly, and if you do make sure they’re covered. Whether you take a small tumble or totally stack it, if you're not falling on your elbows, you’ll be dropping to your knees, and we can assure you, you will know about it. Being a very fragile part of the body and put through some vigorous activity when riding, it is best to keep them protected. Many brands design their knee pads to stay in place and feel comfortable whilst in motion, understanding this is of crucial importance to the rider.
Knowing how to ride your bike in our opinion, also involves knowing how to fall off it. It is inevitable when riding your bike something or someone will stop you in your tracks, so taking extra precaution when the risk of coming off your bike is higher is always advisable. It isn't to be embarrassed about, if you're not falling off, your not having fun some say. So why not make sure you can keep having fun after every fall.
