What a great deal at £130. Remote is a great help. The light has a great flood and really lights up everything. Too bright on boost for tight trees, so I turn it down a bit unless I'm descending in the open. Battery is usually 50+% full after my after work night rides each week. Very happy customer!
Really, really pleased with this light for off-road riding.
Wanting to avoid the bright white glare of the higher k-rated bulbs out there, I did my research on the various beam comparison sites to look for a light with a more natural colour.
The Moon Canopus fits the bill nicely in that respect, and I was very pleased to find it at £129.99.
Some of the reviews available on the internet point to the complexity of the different modes and clicks needed to cycle through them, indicating that the instruction manual isn't great, but if you take the time to read through properly it's fairly logical. I did have a bit of a moment on about my third or fourth ride in where I fat-fingered the remote, turning the light off accidentally. I spent the next couple of minutes long-pressing the power button to try to get it to come back on again. Eventually I realised that I was pressing too long and all was fine.
Run-time seems very good. I only ever ride for a couple of hours at a time at night, and the power reserve indicates that I don't even get through half of the battery in that time, typically cycling through 2 or 3 of the higher-output modes on my rides.
What a great light it maybe be a bit big with the head unit but clap sets the light in front of the stem so nice and out of the way battery pack is large but had no problem fitting it my bike.
The little remote is as to cycle through power settings and the double press gets you to full power then tap again to back to the power you had before.
I used the light at a 24hr race and with the settings got the light through the whole night.
The cool white and warm white LEDs work well and have a nice colour out on the trails.
At £129.99 this is a bargain

Am giving this a 5 based on offer price of £129.
This is a steal! An hour and a half on full boost will use maybe 20% of battery. It's bright, easy to use on the fly. Nice wide beam and was particularly impressed with the beam colours. Went out in foggy rain last night, pitch black , riding steep tech and orange beam completely avoids glare in fog.
Battery holds in place well with no slip and the mount is solid.
I was looking for a light that lets me ride as close to daylight speeds as possible, and this works well bar mounted combined with helmet light. To be fair it's pretty good without helmet light.
For this price. Just buy it.
