What is a derailleur hanger? A derailleur hanger, otherwise known as a mech hanger, mech dropout, cast hanger, mountain bike hanger and hanger dropout, are a piece of metal that is attached to the rear frame of a bike. The main job of a derailleur is to adsorb any strain, resulting in either snapping or bending to protect the frame of the bike.
Derailleur hanger 296 has been custom designed and manufactured to fit a number of Boardman frames. We boast over 400+ CNC machined mech hangers, all of which are made from 6082 T6 aluminium and all come in a classic black anodised finish, which is perfect for all types of bikes. We are confident you will find the ideal mech hanger with a perfect fit for your bike. Our team work hard to make sure all of our mech hangers are manufactured to the best quality.
All of our rear mech hangers have superior strength, amazing durability and great shifting, making this a robust and affordable upgrade from your standard cast hanger.
