Quicker commutes, longer days in the saddle and the ability to level climbs that were previously un-rideable, there are many perks to having an e-bike.
Here at JeJames Cycles we have an extensive range of electric bikes. From city bikes to full-carbon hardtails, Specialized to Haibike and everything in between, we have you covered. In this article, we will take a look at some of the 2020 models from our biggest brands. So, delve in and see what we can do for you when it comes to getting that extra kick from your ride.
Specialized
Specialized has a whole fleet of reliable e-bikes and have brought out some huge hitting off-road inclined models including the Kenevo and Levo SL. The Levo SL is a playful 29er ready to smash the trails all day and the Kenevo is Specialized’s downhill model which cuts out the need for a shuttle back up the hill, making you a more self-reliant rider. You can test out these bikes for yourself as we recently added them to our demo bike range.
We also have Specialized’s road and gravel ready e-bikes. The Turbo Creo SL is the lightest power assisted road bike on the market which makes it a phenomenal climber. It handles and rides just as well on gravel too – a very versatile bike. All the Specialized e-bikes link to their own Mission Control App which allows you to be in control of power delivery and battery management.
Whyte
As we told you in February, Whyte were a little late to the party in introducing their E-150 S e-mountain bike but the wait was certainly worth it. The bike typifies their trail handling mountain bikes and with the help of the Bosch Performance Line CX Generation 4 motor, provides a ride that can keep you out on the trails all day. This bike can take care of just about anything. They may have been late but it only really got started when they got here.
Haibike
Haibike also use Bosch as their power provider and like Whyte have produced a range of trail smashing machines. The 2020 range includes the new Flyon system, which they say delivers 50% more torque, up to 200% more assistance and a range increase of 25%. More power, more energy and more time in the saddle. The battery has an impressive capacity of 630wh, which means you can be out on the trails all day riding at maximum power.
As well as 29ers and downhill whips, we also have an array of their 2020 adventure mountain bikes. They have thought about important aspect of off-road touring with these machines, with a powerful motor to help even when the bike is carrying a lot of additional weight. Powerful integrated lights are a neat finishing touch.
Giant
Giant make good use of their own SyncDrive Pro motor technology in their bikes which seamlessly integrates within the frame. Their 2020 Trance models have the power and control to dramatically improve your off-road performance by all the tools at your fingertips. They also have a neat range of hybrid bikes including the commuter friendly 2020 FastRoad and the town stroller Entour range.
Trek
Trek’s 2020 models include 29ers, downhill crunchers and everyday hybrid models. All these bikes utilise Trek’s ingenious Removable Integrated Battery (RIB) system that fully hides the battery inside the downtube. It is removed without the need for tools and even allows space to mount a water bottle cage. The mountain bike models can perform to the highest level on tricky descents and technical trails. The Bosch pedal assist system means you don’t have to bust a lung when climbing, keeping enough energy in the tank for the ride back down the other side. Their 2020 hybrid models are great for everyday riding and make for a brilliant hassle-free commuter bike.
So, there you have it, a taste of our extensive range of electric bikes. As well as the brands mentioned, we also stock e-bikes from the likes of Cannondale, Scott, Focus and many more. You can find details on our current operations here.
