Cannondale are passionate about building the most innovative products. Bikes that offer the best possible cycling experience. Started in a small workshop above a pickle factory by Joe Montgomery over forty years ago, Cannondale still care as much about their customers as they do about the bikes they build.

BORN IN A BARN
Although they never forget their heritage, Cannondale and their dealers have come a long way since their birth in a crowded loft above a pickle factory in 1971!
In the last 14 years, Cannondale have won five Giro d'Italia Maglia Rosas, arguing that maybe they should add pink to their brand colors. Most recently they won the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a Espana in one single year!
Cannondale pride themselves in making the most kick-ass, cutting edge frames in cycling. But you don’t race a frame, you race a complete bike. It seems like common sense, but Cannondale stand alone in the industry with their System Integration approach to bike design.
Back in 2000, Cannondale revolutionized bottom bracket technology by oversizing the bottom bracket shell and replacing the heavy, flexy steel BB spindle with a 30mm aluminum spindle with a unique, stress-reducing wave-taper crank interface. The result was BB30, a system that is not only significantly lighter, but also significantly stiffer than traditional designs.
Cannondale’s eyecatching OPI SpideRings are inspired by auto racing wheels. These one-piece spider & rings are 3D forged from a single block of aluminium. Being one piece it saves weight and reduces chainring deflection. This gives crisper, more precise shifts and are retrofittable to all Hollowgram Cranks.
