Whether you just want to try a new style of bike, or you want to test a model before you purchase, the JE James Cycles Hire service is a perfect way of testing out an elite model bike from some of the biggest manufacturers around. You can hire for 1-7 days and really test these bikes as they would be used if you owned them, gone are the days of a quick ride in the carpark, now you can take one of these precision machines and really test if they are right for you. Additionally if you decide you want to purchase the bike, or something of similar value we give you the hire fee back to put to the purchase of the bike. Can’t say fairer than that! All you need to do is book the days you would like to hire the bike for and pre-book to secure the bike and select the store you wish to collect and pay the hire fee. Its as easy as that!

This package allow you to collect the bike in the morning of hire and return the bike at the end of the second day.
Collect the bike from 9am on a Friday and return the bike before 7pm Monday.

1) Firstly pick the bike you are interested in and book this either online, using our online booking system, or in-store. To book online go to the portal above and select the brand you are interested in look at the bikes available and once you have found the bike in your size click the book now text. This will then activate a pop-up you then can choose the date range you are interested in. you can only book dates a minimum of 3 days on advance. Choose the days you would like to hire/demo fill in the online form and submit and you will receive a email confirmation of the date of collection. Its as easy as that…
Hint: Please print off the confirmation email, or if you have a smart phone save the email and bring the electronic/paper copy to store when you collect.
2) Come and collect the bike
What do I need to bring with me? When you come to collect your hire/demo bike from one of our stores please remember to bring the following: Passport and or Driving Licence In addition to your Credit and or Debit Card This will be for the cost of the hire and the security deposit that will be *returned to you once the bike is returned and inspected for damage.
3) Then the legal bit.
Once in-store we will take the payment for the hire and a *refundable security deposit of £250. We will then check the bike with you for any existing damage. We will then make sure all setting and adjustments have been made for your height and riding style. *If any additional charges are necessary these will be deducted from the security deposit. If the damage exceeds the security budget these will be discussed with you.
