"Bought my new bike for them. Bought online and then went into store to view it. Fantastic customer service from the staff in duty and good demo of the bike. It was delivered and again had a full handover with some great tips etc. Overall these are great for all your needs and would recommend 100%."

"Picked up a bikebox from here on Saturday, had a chat with Alan, what a great chap , he gave ma friend some advice on her new bike she purchased from liv in york,(sorry),as she just wasnt comfy on it ,and also showed her how to conect her di2 to her phone correctly, plus lots of other information he gave us both, we didnt know anything about this bike shop ,but now we do we will be back ,thanks again alan your a star ????????"

"J E James was recommended to me by a neighbour and I'd been to a few of the major bike stores where I'd left empty handed. When I entered this store, we were greeted quickly by a friendly assistant who advised us where the hybrid bikes were. All the bikes were separated by type, which was really helpful as I find it quite intimidating when everything is sort of muddled together. Compare this to my experience at another bike shop where three people were dealing with one customer and no one offered to assist me. Anyway, we were told to speak to Robbie who was really helpful and patient as I dilly dallied between two bikes. I didn't feel pressured to buy and I immediately loved the range of bikes in store. I chose my bike the same day and left a £25 deposit (as I was going to go through the cycle to work scheme), but the next day I'd decided not to, so I rung up (this was a Monday I believe) and told them I wasn't going through that and would just be paying outright. They told me that they would get the bike set up for me and then all I'd need to do is pop in and pay for the bike. I was told it would be ready Wednesday and I would get a call when it was done. The days passed and before I knew it, it was Sunday, so I decided to pop down to pay off the bike. They told me it was ready, but I hadn't received a phone call. Now this is where the four starts comes into it. I tried the bike out, they made sure everything was good, and my dad went back to fetch it later on that day. My dad then told me that he'd had to go back to the store because he had noticed that there was no dust cap on the back wheel, no nut on the valve stem and the valve stem nut on the front wheel was loose (so loose it was visible) and that apparently could cause the stems to rupture and result in punctured tires. They told my dad that it had been safety checked and they would find out who it was that had done it, but that's the only reason I gave them four stars as those things had gotten missed when they shouldn't have. Robbie was really helpful and the store is great, and the other members of staff are friendly too, plus good selection of bikes."

"A big thumbs up to Mick and Rob who went out of Thier way to solve a little problem I had after picking up a new bike.. It was only a mudguard clip that had come off and unfortunately got lost somehow. Within a couple of hours a replacement clip had been dropped off at my house. I've used this shop on many occasions over the years and have never had anything but enthusiastic and polite service."

"Buy with confidence is all I can say. I’m a distance buyer of an Orbea Rise who lives in Cornwall. I have had several warranty issues that have been dealt with, with absolutely no quibbles. I have had to pay my local orbea dealer out of my own pocket for labour and that has the been pretty much instantly reimbursed to my account. I would not hesitate to buy from these guys again which was a financed purchase over the phone with the Chesterfield store."
