What do I need to bring to Cyclefest
You won't be able to participate without bringing a form of photographic ID a bank card and a EN1078 standard helmet. Click here to see the full list of equipment we recommend.
Is there parking available?
There is parking available in Rother Valley Country Park priced at £5 per vehicle. Parking is payable at the gatehouse on Pithouse Lane and is cash only Cyclefest has no control over the price of parking at Rother Valley parking charges are subject to change. We will update this section as soon as possible upon any change to pricing. there is free parking available outside grounds.
How do demo rides work? & How long are they?
Each demo ride is a maximum of 45 minutes long and is limited to the Rother Valley country park area. Each rider can choose a trail suitable to their own skill level. Once your 45 minutes is up there will be a transition period for maintenance and new demo rides.
Can I book more than one demo ride?
You test as many demos as are available on the day. Each demo ride runs on the hour for a maximum of 45 minutes to give you and your next demo bike time to get back and get any necessary maintenance before the next demo slot starts, we request that every rider respects the demo timings in accordance with our T&C's
I want to follow my own route for the demo, is this possible?
This is at the discretion of the event management on the day, we will need to provide you with emergency contact details whilst you're out on a ride. Unfortunately we cannot allow any demo rider to leave the park whilst on demo.
How do I book a specific bike demo?
You can use our online Booking System to book a slot at cyclefest. If you are booking on behalf of another person please use the booking system to enter their details separately. Due to an increase in popularity we are unable to take specific bike bookings. Any riders wishing to demo specific bikes are advised to arrive as early as possible to ensure their chosen bikes availability.
What time does Cyclefest start and finish?
The first demo ride starts at 9am with one demo ride starting every hour the last demo ride checks out at 4pm Cyclefest operates on this basis on both Saturday and Sunday
What is there to do at Rother Valley country park for the family to do?
There's lots to do at Rother Valley besides Cyclefest, everything from playgrounds right through to wake boarding and water zorbing, These other activities are provided by Rother Valley country park and are chargeable. For full pricing details please Click Here
